A wonderful Sunday roast dinner was prepared, cooked and served by the amazing team at Linklaters. Linklaters is one of the world’s leading law firms, who are a high-performing, diverse team of exceptional, talented and highly motivated individuals who handle the biggest and most transformational mandates for the world’s leading corporates, banks and financial sponsors.
The team at Linklaters volunteered their time to come along and meet residents at the night shelter whilst they got busy in the kitchen cooking the Sunday roast. Much fun was had by all, and every resident said what a lovely experience they had and that the meal was delicious!
Linklaters have long supported our night shelter and regularly donate to our homeless charity. Last year, Linklaters raised money for CENS, and we were amazed and delighted to receive a donation for £6000!
Every single penny helps towards the running costs of the night shelter and we are so grateful for the continued support from Linklaters. Without valuable donations like these, we would not be able to provide hot home-cooked meals 365 days of the year, for all of our residents or be able to provide hot showers, heating and electricity for all 16 rooms for those facing homelessness.
The team at Linklaters also donate Christmas presents to CENS every year and to other charities in the local community. They truly are an inspiration.
